What is Dual Training System (DTS) Program?

In school, the trainee learns basic trade theory, work values, good citizenship, safety, and related theory subjects in mathematics, drawing, and social sciences.

At the company or workshop, the trainees learn job skills through practical exercises using state of the art technology. Aside from technical skills, the trainees also learn good work habits and how to get along well with others.

Get paid while in your On-the-job training

Under DTS law, our partner companies are obliged to provide our students with a monthly OJT allowance, equating to 75% of the minimum wage in the area of training.

Digital Arts and Design

The Digital Arts and Design course is a two-year Dual Training System (DTS) program offered by MFI Polytechnic Institute, Inc., aimed at producing well-rounded, competent, and highly skilled digital artists and designers. Accredited by the Technical Education Skills Development Authority (TESDA) with National Certification, the program focuses on both theory and hands-on experience, preparing students to create various graphical applications, render colors in photographs, design layouts, and develop marketing and media collaterals. Additionally, it hones students’ communicative, vocational, and interpersonal skills, equipping them to create font types, print, and online media designs.

Information Technology

The Information Technology (IT) course is a two-year Dual Training System (DTS) program offered by MFI Polytechnic Institute, Inc., designed to produce well-rounded, competent, and highly skilled IT technicians and professionals. Accredited by the Technical Education Skills Development Authority (TESDA) with National Certification, the program equips students with the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software, code programs, create mobile and desktop applications, repair computer systems, and install network systems. Additionally, students develop essential communicative, vocational, and interpersonal skills, gaining working knowledge in configuring computer systems, managing databases, and setting up servers and other IT-related systems.

Network System and Security Administration

The Network System and Security Administration course is a two-year Dual Training System (DTS) program offered by MFI Polytechnic Institute, Inc., designed to produce well-rounded, competent, and highly skilled IT professionals and managers. Accredited by the Technical Education Skills Development Authority (TESDA) with National Certification, the program focuses on both theory and hands-on experience, enabling students to install and troubleshoot operating systems, secure IT systems, repair hardware and software, and maintain IT systems. In addition to developing communicative, vocational, and interpersonal skills, students become proficient in managing servers, building simple LANs, configuring routers, installing IT-related software, and resolving common IT issues.

Automotive Technology

The Automotive Technology course is a two-year Dual Training System (DTS) program offered by MFI Polytechnic Institute, Inc., aimed at producing well-rounded, competent, and highly skilled automotive technicians. Accredited by the Technical Education Skills Development Authority (TESDA) with National Certification, the course equips students to install, troubleshoot, configure, and test both simple and advanced automotive components and systems in automobiles and motorcycles. With a focus on both theory and practical on-the-job training, students learn to service vehicles, assemble automotive systems, and resolve common and complex automotive issues. Additionally, they develop communicative, vocational, and interpersonal skills, gaining proficiency in repairing, servicing, and installing vehicular components to meet specific vehicle requirements.

Industrial Automation and Mechatronics Technology

MFI Polytechnic Institute’s Industrial Automation and Mechatronics Technology program provides skills and knowledge required in designing, installing, operating, and maintaining industrial automated systems. It combines mechanical, electrical, electronics, and computer engineering principles to optimize both production processes and quality. In this program, the PLCs, robotics, sensors, among other automation technologies, are covered. The practical education and training in those areas will prepare the graduates for the working environment, especially in manufacturing and automation engineering.

Industrial Electrical Technology

Industrial Electrical Technology is a field that focuses on the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems in industrial settings. Professionals in this field ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical equipment and machinery in factories, manufacturing plants, and other industrial facilities. They work with electrical circuits, components, and control systems to maintain productivity and prevent downtime.

My whole internship at JMH IT Solutions Inc gave me insights about the IT industry, like communicating with other developers on how to solve a specific error, working with groups, having scrums, and whatnot.
